An Chúirt, is built on the foundations of what was formerly Lord George Hill’s residence in Gweedore from the 1830’s.  More recently the house was used as a hunting lodge and then as a hotel during the early 20th century.

In the late 1980’s local man Mr Patrick Doherty and family, dedicated themselves to its restoration.  The passion to maintain the atmosphere of the old hotel is evident throughout.  From fine art, quality fabrics and furnishing, porcelain antiques and pieces of history not to mention the inspiring scenery it's a hidden treasure.

This 66 bedroom establishment is located next to Glenveagh National Park affording hotel guests unrivalled views, with mountain and forest walks, lake filled valleys fringed by the Atlantic coastline.  Our expertise in weddings has been gained over many years and our stunning banqueting suite can seat up to 250 guests, the perfect venue for any function. 

Our restaurant has established an enviable reputation for freshly prepared cuisine served in friendly relaxed surroundings with both al la carte and table d'hote menus.  Sunday lunch is a popular occasion in the PJD bar with spectacular views of the "Clady River" it is open to residents and non residents, and serving a beautiful bar menu daily.

Residents can enjoy the use of the newly opened "Earagail Health Club" offering state of the art facilities.  Serenity Hair and Beauty offer a fabulous hair salon and a range of treatment rooms with a variety of beauty treatments to choose from.
